Plaka Beach

The natural continuation of Saint Prokopios and Saint Anna is the beach of Plaka. It is one of the most popular and largest beach of the island, with deep water. Its length covers an area of 4 km while at the back of it are impressive dunes that create an amazing scenery. Quite protected from August meltemi is an ideal destination for families and children. Organized in several places with sun beds, restaurants and bars, as well as water sports for more active visitors. Moving towards the end of it, there are several places for a more solitary bath under the natural shade of cedars.
